Curried Samp & Beans with Peppadews

Stork Country Blend

1 Onion chopped

1 tsp Garlic

½ tsp turmeric

1-2 tsp Curry powder, depending on your spice preference

½ cup tomato puree

2 cups cooked samp

1 cup boiled sugar beans

a handful peppadews, removed from the liquid and chopped

 1.Add a generous spoonful of Stork to a pot

2.Sauté the onion, garlic, turmeric and curry powder on a low temperature for about 2 minutes

3. Add the samp and beans and another generous spoonful of Stork Country Blend

4.Add a splash of water and simmer on a low temperature for about 15-30 minutes or until the samp is creamy and tender.

5. Stir in the peppadews right at the end

6. Serve with a pickled carrot salad, atchar and if you’d like some yoghurt or buttermilk.
